MATTHIAS HOFFMANN

 

is a freelance cameraman and D.O.P with more than 20 years of professional experience. He grew up in Innsbruck, Austria nestled in the Alps. Skiing and snowboarding piqued his interest in filming early in his life. His passion for nature, sense of adventure, and cinematography skills have enabled him to work on many high ranking and Emmy-nominated adventure programs. He has been fortunate to meet and work with some of the best camera and sound professionals in the business who have inspired him and his work. His experience encompasses many genres including documentary, adventure, reality, music, and commercial. Matthias always ensures the best image and quality of his projects.
The nature of his profession has enabled him to travel the world and has opened his eyes to different cultures and ways of life. He firmly
believes that bringing his rich life experiences to a set will enhance his work on any project. He continuously pursues advances in his skillset and boldly tackles new challenges, concepts, and ideas.
He currently resides in Los Angeles and is eager to further his travels through his work.
